Hello! My name is Danielle. I am a Christian, wife, daughter, sister, cat mom, and soon to be adoptive parent! I work as a social worker and love where I am with my life. I am blessed to have the life that I do and the amazing people that are in it. I always wanted to do something to help people, and feel that my life’s calling is to serve people. I never knew I would grow up to be a social worker. It seems that it is a profession that called to me more than it being my decision. I have a passion for education on children’s issues, and love teaching people about ways to love and serve kids.

I have been married to my amazing husband for 4 years, and love him more each day. He is such a blessing to me, and I do not deserve his love. I am so excited to be starting this amazing journey of adoption with him, and know that he is going to be the best dad! I know that The Lord has called me to be a mom, and that he uses adoption as a beautiful display of his grace and love for us. We discussed adoption before we were even married, and always knew that was something that we wanted. We have the best friends and family in the world, and have so many amazing people in our corner. I hope that this blog can be a way to connect with others who are in the throws of adoption, want to learn about adoption, or just want an honest and uncensored account of what this process means. Most importantly, I want this to be a record that we can show our future kids, so that they know that they are LOVED and cherished. Just as our Lord knew and loved us before the foundation of the earth, our kids are loved. I cannot wait to meet our kids, and have them be part of our forever family.
