Waiting…this is the theme of our lives lately. All the paperwork has been turned in and approved and our adoption profile is officially live (wow!), this means that any given time a prospective birth parent could be viewing our album and considering us, or maybe we could be getting a call that our baby has been born in a hospital and our lives could completely change from one second to another.

But now all we do is wait, and it is not as hard as we thought it would be. We feel very at peace for where we are. We have time to prepare the house for a baby and get everything at order. We are at peace that we need to wait and that we will be ready when the time comes. We will continue to wait as long as we have to because we know that our child will be the right one for our family.

So here is to waiting, and then waiting some more!
